Remember when Celebration Bride & Tuxedo sold prom dresses, too? Well, some of our former prom customers have started returning and becoming Celebration brides! We love when women come in and tell us they bought their prom dress from us, so from February 15th-28th, if you bring a photo of yourself in a Celebration prom dress, we will give you a complimentary veil!
Unsure what type of veil you’re looking for with your wedding dress? Here are a few tips on what veil length you’ll want with your wedding dress silhouette!
If your wedding dress has a gorgeous, full skirt like this stunning ball gown, you’ll want to find a veil that doesn’t interrupt the skirt! A fingertip length veil would look amazing from the front, but from the back it would end mid way down the skirt, interrupting the stunning look you want from your dress. To keep the focus on your beautiful skirt from all angles, opt for a dress either elbow length or shorter, or chapel length or longer.
Fit and Flare
Fit and flare dresses like this beautiful lace wedding dress are popular for good reason! The silhouette flatters your figure with its curvy shape, and looks good on everyone. When finding a veil for this silhouette, you’ll want something fingertip length or longer so that it doesn’t cut off the beautiful shape your dress is creating! We think cathedral length veils look especially great if your dress has a train.
If you’re a bride who loves the traditional, classic A-line shape, you’ll probably want a classic veil to complete the look. As with a ball gown, it’s important not to interfere with the flow of your skirt. We love chapel-length veils with A-line dresses—the way the veil blends in with the skirt just adds an extra dreamlike layer we are obsessed with.
